Our 1st Wave of M.A.D. Ambassadors are Here!

1st Wave of M.A.D. Ambassadors!
1st Wave of M.A.D. Ambassadors!

We had the wonderful opportunity to spread our message and mission to hundreds of world changers at the Jostens Renaissance Gala!  We are so thankful for the platform that they gave us! We launched the M.A.D. Ambassador Club at this event!

You can “Join the M.A.C.” too!  It’s for all ages and FREE!  All you have to do is fill out the form and commit to only 5 HOURS of service/month for a year!  If you’re in school, you also promise to maintain a minimum of a 2.0 GPA.  Then, once you do that, make sure to share on social media using our hashtag, #jointhemac.  Super simple right?

Jordin & PJ Sparks were featured speakers at the gala and were so inspirational!  Jordin surprised the crowd with a couple songs, and it was electric! Jodi went live on Jordin’s Facebook page and filmed her singing “No Air.”

During the breakout session, Jordin, PJ, Jodi & Nichet all spoke and encouraged the students to bring their leadership skills back to their schools and make a difference!  We are so excited about this!  It has been a dream to do this for years…we just needed the right partner!  Thank you Jostens!

Remember, it’s super easy to join the M.A.C.!  We’d love to have YOU!

Orange For Wendy! May is Melanoma Awareness Month!

#orangeforwendy orange for wendy jordin kiss
Spa day with Wendy when they dyed their hair orange:)

May is the month that we promote awareness about Melanoma by posting about taking care of your skin, wearing sunscreen, and getting skin checks! It’s also when we honor our dear Wendy who passed away in May of 2008 by wearing her favorite color…orange.  If you’d like to help spread awareness and take the #orangeforwendy challenge too, post something about Melanoma or post something orange EVERY DAY this month!  We will RT and help create the buzzzzz!  Use the following hashtags:

#orangeforwendy #IMAY #melanoma

Side Note:  While Jordin, Jodi, and PJ were filming this video in LA, they got the call to come home.  Wendy was declining quickly. They drove as fast as they could to get to her in AZ.  When they got there, they ordered pizza, helped with a treatment and played with her hair.  They knew she didn’t have long and knew she would get a kick out of this video and showed it to her. (watch until the very end:) She saw it before anyone…she was the 1st.   It was the last smiles they shared together.  She died that night.

Super Bowl 2016 ~ Using Football to Leave a Footprint

9 Super Bowls.  We’ve been to each one since 2008.  Our purpose is to leave a positive footprint in each city and shine a light on those making a difference in their community.   San Francisco Bay Area was no different.

This year we had the honor of serving the community, creating smiles,  and lending our platform to some amazing organizations and events.

We started out at the 1st NFL Women’s Summit

Be A Giver

2015-Its-Time-for-GivingWith all the craziness of this last weekend (Door Busters, Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday) take a moment to GIVE today. Doesn’t matter how.  It can be your time, food or finances.  It can be anything.  Just be a giver. Carry on this spirit through the rest of the year and make it a habit in 2016!

Here’s an idea…donate a $15 wreath to be placed on the grave of a veteran! Click here: Wreaths Across America
